The division caters for all types of work regardless of trade type, and particularly specialises in disabled facilities adaptation works.
We appreciate that not all of our clients have experience of the building industry, and although they know what their requirements are, they are not always entirely sure how to achieve them.
In many cases the value of a small works project does not justify the engagement of an architect to assist with the plans. That's why our experienced multi-disciplined surveyors are always on hand to help, advise, scope and specify any small works projects required.
In addition we can advise clients whether there are any specialist considerations that need to be made for their project such as Structural Calculations, or Planning or Building Regulation Approval.
Our team that deliver small works projects have been specially selected for their ability to deliver works of various types to very exacting standards. The majority of our small works projects are delivered using our own directly employed trade operatives, and we cover all trade types, including mechanical and electrical. All of our trade operatives are highly qualified and receive regular training, with a particular emphasis on working with vulnerable people and within occupied properties.

Our maintenance teams are always on hand 24/7, 365 days a year to provide a reactive service, and we also offer planned preventative maintenance packages.
Small works are projects in your business that need completing that are too large for a handyman and too small for a full fit out team. They typically range anywhere from £500 to £100,000. Permission is dependent upon what works you are completing and if you have a lease, what is in the lease to allow you to alter the building. It may also be dependent upon building regulations if the changes affect the structure of the building or planning permissions may be required if the building is listed or if external changes are required, for example changing the main signage of a retail outlet or changing the shopfront.
